Agios Theologos beach on Kos

Agios Theologos is located as far west as you can go on Kos. Too bad that the beach is so far (45 kilometres) from Kos Town, because it is not a beach that you drive to every day. But if you stay in for example Kefalos, it's far closer.

Agios Theologos is an absolutely wonderful beach. Personally, I think it is one of the best beaches on Kos. The beach is very exposed to the wind and weather. The waves crash onto the shore and if you like to have fun in high waves, this is the place you should go to.

Above the beach lies a taverna with fabulous views, the menu offers homemade food of the best variety. The family who run the taverna lived in Canada before, but one after another they have moved back to Kos. Now the whole family is working at the taverna. They use produce from their own growing. They even make their own cheese and bread. The sunset seen from the taverna is said to be something very special.
