Villages on Sifnos

Sifnos has been blessed with many beautiful villages. The crown jewel is Kastro, placed high on my top-ten list of the many beautiful villages in the Cyclades. Another of my favourites is the small coastal village of Heronissos far north. The main tourist resorts are Kamares and Platys Gialos. All the villages, except the capital of Apollonia and the small villages in the surrounding area, stands on the coast.
