Most people who travel to Kos go on a package-holiday and usually they stay in Kos Town, Tigaki or Marmari. If you are travelling independently, I recommend you to pre-book your accommodation, to search on spot is difficult. Package hotels dominates, many of the rooms have been pre-booked since long by tour operators. There are few traditional pensions and almost no "rooms". We always stay in Kos Town.
