Do not expect to be met by long paradise beaches with powdery
white sand, sunbeds and umbrellas. What you can look forward to is a dozen
of small, narrow and sparsely attended beaches surrounded by a lovely
snorkel-friendly water. Most of the beaches are within walking distance
of Lipsi Village. It is not possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas
at any beach, and of course there is no water sport toys.
My favourite beaches are Katsadia and Platys Gialos, above all
since both beaches have been gifted with great tavernas. Other beaches
are Liendou and Kambos near Lipsi Village,
and Kohlakura, Tourkomnima and Monodendri east of Katsadia.
