There are lots of villages on Samos, from touristy villages (such
as Pythagorion and Kokkari) to fairly unknown villages that are completely
untouched by tourism. That's part of the charm of Samos, there's something
for everyone here.
When we are on Samos, we always try to find a village that we have
never been to, and even though we have been to Samos many, many times,
there are always villages left to discover. A village that I think no
one misses is Manolates, while I think most people miss Chora,
despite the fact that the village is close to Pythagorion, even Platanos
I think many miss, just like it is with Kastania.
